DIY cookie in a jar, Christmas idea (BLOGMAS DAY 18)

This is my favourite thing of all the present I have got everyone for many reasons. I did put a lot of effort into these as I wanted them to be perfect but they are real easy to make, I do think loads about what I get people as I really want them to like it, I love mason jars (blogger instinct) and I just think they are amazing, so lets get started.
First I bought some mason jars.

Then I added 85 grams of flour mixed with 1 tea spoon of baking soda, but your amount will depend on the size of your mason jar, then In patted it down as tight as I could to the bottom of the jar.

After that, I layered 175 grams of chocolate on top but of course you can use how ever much chocolate you wanted to and you could use any type too. One thing you need to do with the chocolate is make sure it is as tight to each other as possible if there is gaps the next layer of sugar will fall through and you wont have the layered affect as much.
Then I 95 grams of light brown sugar, this is also important that you pack this tight as this is what is going to keep all the rest of the ingredients in place. But with this being my first I didn't realise that I needed to layer the chocolate so much but as you can see it fell. Then I added 47 grams of granulated sugar, and that's the ingredients done.
Then to decorate I added some red and white rope and tied it into a cute bow, this makes them more christmas-like but you could use ribbon. I got this from Wilkinson's for £1 which is really cheep.

 Then I made some tags.
Then I added a sticky tag to the back saying what you needed to do to make the cookies and also the ingredent if they wanted to make them again.

And that it, I love them! I was so happy how they turned out, cookie in a jar.

thankyou for taking your time to read this
